Many people think that I am a photographer. But I am not. What I want to be is an artist. Not a designer, not a writer, not a photographer... I want to be "everything"...
Here I show you an old painting of flowers.
I have been painting flowers all my live. Maybe becouse I learned from my mother.

> English version The first day at the college I noticed that my english was not good enought to try to explain who I was and what I was suppose to do there (and of course I was getting a little bit nervouse). Just two girls, when I finished my presentation told me "we have understand everything that you have told"... they were Jane and Monica... Then I found to good friends on them. So, whereever you are I remenber both of you ;-) Here at a party (Lisa´s place maybe?). 
Summer and vacation time is great to look inside my old cds or dvds.
I have founded some interesting work that I have done.
Here is a example of the logotypes I used to design.
After been painting for several years, and after learned how to use the airbrush, the year 1992 was the year of the poster contest.
What does mean?
I do not know if everywhere else this is very commun, but in Basque Country many cities and towns celebrates its aniversaries, or annual parties... sometimes I do not know how to call them.
Anyway, all of them make a poster contest and give to the winner money (not to much, but is ok), so that year I decided to be part of the artist that participate on the contest.
Bilbao Party, Ezkaray, Carnavales Bilbao...
I did not win any of them (I was the second at Ezcaray) but I learned a big lesson the very next year. Do not waste your time trying to make an easy money with your art. Better play to lottery ;-) more chance to win, that is for sure.

Working as a freelance I learned a lot. When I came back from USA I found an industrial City like it was Bilbao changing to be a service city.
So this change was hard to understand for many companies... and advertisign and design was the first thing they reduced. Bad times for everybody.
This part of my live I draw, made paintings, made posters using airbrush, designed with my first Macintosh and learned how to threat with clients.
Yes, "clients"... the people who pay you for doing works...

If something wanted to be Donibane in his life, was an illustrator.
He just drawed for making comics, or just for had fun. "When I was young my school books were always full of illustrations all around".
"Now, with the computer is the same, the only difference is that my books keep very inmaculate... well, not all of them".

Donibane has combine techniques during the last 20 years.
For this collection he painted with acrylics and airbrush.
The guitar colecction has five paintings.
During this last 20 years Donibane has done around a hundred logotypes. But as he always says, "there are no one similar to another".
