La fotografía que muestro fué sacada desde el Puente de Deusto (famoso en el mundo entero) aprovechando que los operarios del ayuntamiento están procediendo a cambiar las barandillas. Habrá que ver que es lo que ponen pero esta me pareció una fotografía interesante, por lo que trasmite (sobre todo a los que tantas veces hemos pasado por alli) y por los colores, texturas, etc.

This time is about "Bilbao", my city. What is known as "the Bilbao effect" is the change of a city, from industrial to one of services and cultural at the same time.

During the last ten years Bilbao has changed a lot.
The new building call "Torre Iberdrola" is again changing the way we see the city or the skyline of it.

Every time that I take a shot to the Museum it looks different to me. And of course it depends on the angle that I take it. Or maybe becouse of the light, or just the way I feel that moment.
Here is an example how it can looks if we combine photography with digital alterations.
"Metro Bilbao and the geometry" by Donibane | 2009

Metro Bilbao is an incredible example of how "good" design is everywhere and of course "geometry". Once I did read an article about how the geometry is all around. In the nature, the animal body (human too of course) is the first place where we can observe it. Then, there are many other examples. And to me, the geometry has a big atraction. I notice when I make a work, a photography or a painting that I am looking always for it. Curious !!!

As the wikipedia says the "Architecture" is the activity of designing and constructing buildings and other physical structures by a person.
Como la wikipedia describe la "arquitectura" es la actividad de diseñar y construir edificios u otras estructuras físicas por un individuo.

Many people think that I am just a designer. Other think that I am a photographer. Some other beleive that I work as an illustrator. Others that I am a writter...
But the ones who really knows me they think that I am an "artist".
And to me be an "artist" is this. Make a lot of many different "things". Not just one or two. Make everything that I can. And I have a lot to learn... for example, sculture... my next "trip" or adventure. I will be able to make what I want in this speciallity? (you will see it next year).

Bizkaian Brigde | 2006 | Puente de Bizkaia
> English version. Looking for the geometry is something that Donibane likes more to do when he creates art. This time, one of the "icons" of the Bizkaian architecture is the "musa" of the basque artist. Using digital alterations and mixed technique the artist has created a mistique recreation of this amazing brigde, done by an Eiffel pupil. > Versión en español.
Buscando siempre la geometría de sus obras es algo que a Donibane siempre le gusta hacer cuando crea una obra de arte. Esta vez, uno de los iconos de la arquitectura de Bizkaia (la provincia donde el artista vive) le sirve de "musa". Utilizando los medios digitales y la técnica mixta, el artista ha creado una recreación mística de esta increible obra, hecha por un discípulo de Eiffel.
