It has been two years since I made this "art exhibition" at the town of Ezcaray (La Rioja).

I had the great privilege of make it at "La estación", an amazing place to make exhibits.

Here some photos of the presentation.

With Agustin Robredo and his father´s wife.

Carlos Molinero, Mª Carmen Olivares and their daughter Maitane under the "Puente Colgante" painting.

Donibane with Luis Mª Ortiz.

In one of the travels that I have made in the past to "La Rioja" (Nothern Spain) I took this photography.

"La Rioja" is the place where the famouse wine "Rioja" born.

I have spend some of my last summer time (around fifteen years) in this land and I just have to say that is wonderfull, and it has all.

Mountains, rivers, good people and of course, wine ;-)

"Art Exhibition" by Donibane | 2009

Since I was fifteen years old I have been making "art exhibitions".

The first one was collective (it means that you are one of a lot of artist on a gallery full of paintings).

The second one was just by myself.

And I learned a lot from that exhitibions.

The people told me what they thought about my art.

And many of them made critiques (some constructives and other not). A critique "always" is a present. Let me repeat it "a wonderful present".

If somebody really appreciates you, then "they will take the time to criticism you".

If not, they just will "take you apart" and "do not care about you".

To ignore somebody is to fail. And fail to "yourself". If you do not like somebody then think about it. Why I do not like this person? Or this art? And the answer is "because I do not understand this person or art".

At the same time I know that not every body have the same view of what are "they looking at". And I think the same happen in the normal "life".

The ones who ask and listen about what others have made are the ones who really will appreciate the art or behavior of that person (at least understand). And they will learn too.

Is like when you go to a museum. There are to ways to see a painting (even more). One is from the ignorance (and nothing happen when you dont know anothing about art) and from the knowledge.

And if you do not know, just ask. Almost every "artist" want to talk about the work has made.

The "poster" is about the one I made at the "Hispano American Bank" at Deusto, Bilbao, and the year the 1994 (yesterday ;-)

With the "guitars" collection. Thank you for visiting my blog ;-)

"Caribe", the name, it cames from the "caribes indians" who just to lived there many years ago.

What else can I say "I wish to be there again" ;-)

There are many angles to take a shot of Bilbao, but the river "Nervion" is to me the most important signal of the city.

This time from the "Council Bridge".
